First of all, this isn't one of your typical, "slate Wenger" article or "add pressure to Wenger" one either, this one is much more positive, so be respectful.
It's almost a Decade now that you have been without a trophy, you must wonder why some people think Wenger is one of the most successful managers in the World at the moment winning so little trophies at such a high calibre club. I'd say he is the most successful manager in a job in England at this present time actually.
I think a lot of people misuse the term "successful" and just immediately think, trophies, silverware, winning. Well actually, there is a lot more behind success. 2 quick definitions are 1. Having a favourable outcome and 2. Having obtained something desired or intended. So why do a lot of fans (including Arsenal fans) think that being successful is having a solid trophy cabinet? Over the years it will be packed. But not at the moment.
But lets step backwards for a second. Take it at this time last year. I was constantly reading up on Arsenal fans on here saying "I'd take Top 4 now" or "We must get Top 4" etc. That is considered a target. A target that was obtained, which therefore goes under the category "successful". Obviously it is nice to win silverware all the time, but that isn't all about success.
That is what Arsene Wenger brings to the club. Success. Although not in the trophy cabinet almost 10 years ago now, but he has achieved at least the minimum outcome, therefore, he was successful. It is the little details that sometimes make the big difference. But obviously, some may complain that he never wins a trophy, yes, I'm sure he would add that as a realistic target as well as the board every season, but 4/5 teams will have the same target and only 1 can win it in the end. So that will be unsuccessful if he doesn't win a trophy, especially this season, however, with all of the other little "successful" details, pretty much every season since you haven't won a trophy he has brought "success". Without anyone actually realising it.
So for the minority, maybe, instead of complaining, think about what you've been saying on here or to other fans/co-workers etc. Then think about what he has done at the club in this season. A higher place in the table than you expect for example. That is considered a successful season. I must say though, Wenger never seems to be "unsuccessful" to the neutral like myself. Appreciate what he has done for the club, always. Always back him and you will eventually win something.

I think you will find that every comment I have made has been with the utmost respect and has been delivered in a delightfully civil manner.
If you take offence to that then there really isn't anything I can do to help you feel otherwise.

You clearly haven't commented in respect. You have said my POV is wrong, so therefore, that is disrespectful.

No, I stated that you wrote a heck of a lot to say nothing in particular. That is what you are getting so upset about and there is nothing I can do to prevent you from feeling this way. It's something you will have to figure out for yourself.

LRF, I don't know who you are but I like you! The juvenile responses are from narrow minded fools.
A well written article which makes a valid point!

He definitely seems to have taken SKAs very fair approach a little to personally.
