TOURNAMENT RULES
The Snooker Shoot Out is a tournament played under different rules and format to the traditional game.

• Every frame lasts 10 minutes.
• There is a shot clock. For the first 5 minutes of the match, players have 15 seconds per shot, but for the last 5 minutes this is reduced to 10 seconds.
• Failure to ensure that the cue ball hits the object ball within the time allowed results in a 5 point penalty.
• Players must hit a cushion or pot a ball with every shot.
• All fouls result in ball in hand.
• Players ‘lag’ for who breaks off.
• In an event of a tie the blue ball shoot-out determines the winner. The blue ball is placed on its spot and the player can place the cue ball anywhere within the D before attempting to pot the blue.

He could be the new Ronnie, but of course the original is still by far the best.

Not sure. Don't know if this works like the Power Snooker tournament did. Sure we'll find out in an hours time.

Ah right. Whats happened to power snooker is that still going?

Think there's another tournament soon. Caught about 15 mins of this earlier, don't like it at all. Good news for some though, Selby lost in the first round!
