Per got a black eye and they'd earlier blamed it on Szczesny elbowing him in training but now they've come clean and said it was a fight with the young french striker.
"Arsenal also said that the clash with Sanogo had taken place some time ago with Mertesacker having stated in an interview yesterday that he sustained the black eye he sported during the game after being elbowed accidentally by Wojciech Szczesny in training."
This bit interests me. Could a possible contribution to our shíte performance today be some sort of squad fight? If so, why the hell would we have one, everything's been pretty rosy for ages up until today.

I understand the moral outrage as he is married.
But 3am Romp? Worded like it's a bad thing at that time of day?
Well what time of day are you supposed to be having it off then?
I would say generally between the hours of say 10pm and 8am would be the time of day most people are 'at it' as that is when one generally finds one's self in bed
I would understand the moaning if it was 3pm, when he's supposed to be playing, or when he's due for training or something.

A 3am romp the night before a game is totally unacceptable for a professional footballer and if hes been doing that it would explain why he is crap at the moment. He is not putting in enough for the team and if it is because of this he hasn't got the commitment to deserve his place.
His wife should kick him out as well if its true.
But being in the Sun, its probably made up.
