Tuned into the match at the Stadium of Light - thought I'd see how Senor Borini was doing and couldn't believe how empty the stadium is.
BT have just said the attendance is 16000 - and I've gotta say I'm surprised it's that high cos when you're watching the match and the camera pans around the ground - it looks half that number
Anyone else watching this ghost stadium?

It did look embarrassingly empty, on a miserable, and very cold, day, but we were much better than Soton and we're 'in the hat'
Bear in mind the fact that a lot of Sunderland A.F.C. fans have just paid a lot of money for our first Wembley appearance of this season, though

Lee Cattermole was, as usual these days, outstanding
He's been our best player since Gus's arrival

Connor Wickham looks better in blue and white stripes

Unfortunately for him, I think that he does, too (as do other Sunderland supporters
The Championship is definately his level, and I hope that he goes back to The Owls and does very well

He's got 'something' but I think that his biggest problem is his arrogance and he should be in The Championship
Maybe if he stays at Sunderland A.F.C. he will play at that level next year . . . . aagh

I didn't see any arrogance in him, only confidence. Fine line between the two.

It was just a match too far for many people who have had to fork out a fortune for a boat load of games we have had in a short space of time just after Christmas..
