I said it as soon as he went on a new diet... and started thinking about his health... that he would start winning again. And he has. He is one to look out for at the World Championship.

Jimmy White should have done the same and who knows...

Cracking bottle and pots. Deserves this. Murphy is back!

Selby playing on needing 3 snookers as usual...

Actually he once played on for 10 or something.

get in there! Sick of seeing Selby grind his way back into matches he has no right of winning. Another loss in a final for Selby.....

Murphy won it. Very well done. Maybe a dark horse for the WC?

No..... Ronnie all the way, and everyone knows that.

Selby is the best I've seen for laying snookers... he is ridiculously good at it, but you need to be killing frames off to win, not playing catch up.

I watch the other so called top players atm, Murphy for example, in that last frame against Selby when the Thorburn throwback tried for snookers, Murphy could have potted the pink several times, Ronnie would have had that frame sorted 15 mins before he crawled over the line. Ronnie is streets ahead in the balls, deadly.

Think Ronnie proved how good he is in the balls against Selby in the Masters final. Can;t argue with Selby's safety play though, even if it is boring.

He's like the Chelsea of the snooker world. Grinds out results. Not pretty but gets the job done.
