Who were the unluckiest players surely destined to be Wolves legends, that were plagued with injury & were never as good as they could have been in a Wolves shirt?
My Wolves XI is
Matt Murray...d'uh, obviously
Neil Masters
Razak Boukari
Frimpong
John DeWolf
Jamie O'Hara
Geoff Thomas
Steve Froggatt
Tony Daley (Captain)
Andy Gray
Neil Edwards

Does anyone remember Martin Patching, he looked really good until the coaching staff got to him. He then proceeded to pass every ball backwards, wherever he was. It became a joke. Soon disappeared without trace.

Like a lot of the players mentioned on this thread, Patching used to get selected quite often and the question being asked by the masses was the same - Why?

I guess Patching could have been a contender for Simon's "sick note" team as he had a brain tumour and collapsed whilst playing for Watford.
I think that he recovered after surgery, though.

I believe Martin Patching's brain tumour was described as 'benign'. He had an operation to remove it but then needed a second operation for a much smaller tumour. I'm not quite sure of how he is at the moment.

Asa Hartford was described as a "whole-hearted player", which was unfortunate as they discovered he had a hole in his heart. I don't think he was at Wolves long...

Can't remember Hartford playing for Wolves.
His dream move (his words) from Baggies to Leeds fell through when the medical discovered that hole in his heart. Man City took a punt anyway.
He was a good player, as was his midfield partner and mate at Baggies, Len Cantello.

Hartford never played for Wolves.
A little known fact is that his real name was Richard Hartford.

No - mimicking him up with another midfielder. Help...

Mixing. Flipping auto correct! I was thinking of Alan Ainscow.
