Winning Ways!

Back to winning ways for the lads last night. Win their game in hand and they're only 4 points off the playoffs. It's much more comforting to be looking up than down.

However, the next 4 games see the Blades play 8th, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the League - a HORRIFIC run of matches!! Only the first game is away, but make no mistake, it's going to be an incredibly tough couple of weeks for the lads.

Win 3 of those and they've a fantastic chance of making the playoffs. Any less than that however and they will be struggling massively as the games are running out fast.

My head tells me they'll come up short this season, but my heart still wants to believe!!

He's been awesome in recent times. Tough start really, but he's turned the team around and they can have a strong finish to the season from here on.

It would be awesome to get into the playoffs, however unlikely it is right now.

Well, I'm here for what it's worth.

I've been to Bramall Lane a couple of times this season with an old work friend who is a big Blades fan. We attended in the early stages of the season when it was all going terribly wrong (Dave Weir's pass-around football) and had hoped to get along to a few more matches. I'm really pleased Nige has turned it around, i knew he was going to be a good manager and they need to try and hang on to Harry McGuire.

My mate was able to secure a semi-final ticket with some difficulty and will be boarding the supporter's coach for Wembley. I shall be listening to it on the radio and wishing the lads well.

There's still an outside chance of a play-off place (and the trip to Man Friday's chippy opposite the ground is always worth it). Always a great atmosphere at Bramall Lane.

So wanted him to get you lot to a Wembley final today.

Nigel Clough was a tremendous appointment. Hang on to him, he did Derby proud while he was here.
