Funny how people tore into Warnock for signing him and giving him an extension clause
Now many people want to extend his contract again
Nowt so strange as Leeds fans

Austin is a favorite of McDermott's and it is obvious that he just cannot hack it this level. But as long as this manager is here he will be played. Tonge and Brown have shown how to close the midfield down, not that I am suggesting that they should be kept on after this season ends but for now they can do a job and free up Murphy, something that Austin cannot do. He is too headstrong and should go, maybe to a division 1 club.

Another cracker Eric
I'm not expecting him to become bleedin' Arkle.
Am I the only one that can see your potential for a 1 night only comedy night with Eric the Happy at Blackpool Tower?

I think it depends on what you mean by best.
I don't think we have seen the best if him as a player, as I think that our team is poor so it's difficult to get the best out of most of our team.
However we have seen what he does best, and that's play consistently to a decent if not good standard.
He never really plays badly and is one of the best "he'll do a job" players out there. Simply put you know what you are going to get with him and you know you are going to get it week in week out.
However like I said, we need to move beyond that now and need tach winners and promotion pushers not just players who don't play badly.
I also have concerns about his wages, remember he was signed from the premiership when the club had cash from the Gradel deal, it's my theory that he is probably one of our better earners.
Time is right to free up those wages, hope he goes and finds himself another club where he plays regular football, as a pro I think he deserves that.

Yes, just you!
He's about as funny as a fire in an orphanage.

Over to you sunshine, he's taken a liking to you. I'll leave him alone now.
Why he's bringing up the heating in orphanages is beyond me?
Perhaps he thinks those unfortunate children ought to be left to freeze in winter...?
Perhaps you can get to the bottom of that one.

Orphanages.
Bottoms.
You should be careful.
Yew Tree is still a live operation.
This is a Leeds United forum. (Often masquerading as a Reading board).

If you think back Lees was a right back, and I believe that is where he gained his under 21 caps
Until Warnock"discovered" Byram.
I cannot remember Lees being given the right back role, which I think is his best position, for some time. Anyone else remember?

I believe he played at right back when he went out on loan to bury, but I think that was more to do with them having a lack of players rather than him being considered a right back.
Also nothing I have ever seen from him as a player would ever lead me to believe he would be a good option at rightback
