Not sure I get this logic.

Fair enough

I just think Hernandez's movement is far more predictable. And the timing of his runs are not as good as they should be. A defender just needs to stand off him.

Welbeck drags better defenders out of position creating more space for other players to work in. Chich just plays off the last man

Chich is a top draw finsher in the box. If Chich's movement was that good, he would score far more than he does.

And I do like the player by the way, but he's 4th choice for a reason

i totally agree with macca.

holding the ball up, especially away from home is vital.
welbeck can do that far better than hernandez.

against a team where we are creating plenty of chances then hernandez is the guy for the job.

in a game where we are relying on the midfield to help the forward out when w do get possession, then its welbeck every day for me.

Dunc

Add to that top draw defenders will cope with Hernandez's movement better than Welbecks

Apparently Rooney is fit for Sundays game.

If someone has made that claim, then take it up with them

That was the original claim you idiot

That he had the best in the squad.

Do you read the articles or cherry pick what you want?

Of course welbeck has more goals, he plays a lot more than Hernandez.

Yet still has only scored in what? 6,7 games he has played this season. That's still terrible. He is a terrible footballer and his qualitys you could get from a heskey, doesn't make him good.

Miles too simplistic

I wrote this earlier

Does my head in when people say Welbeck just runs around alot. Are people so clueless that they do not understand what this running around alot is for?

Welbeck's running creates space for other players. It's measured and deliberate and it is a nightmare for defenders to deal with.

Rooney is the master. One of the best in the World. And does it over a wider area too.

Hernandez is different. He looks to create space for himself. He plays off the last man and more often than not finds himself offside because the timing of his runs is not a strong point. In fact it's a weak point

As a finisher though, Hernandez is better. He is more clinical. Welbeck though is the far bigger nightmare for defenders to deal with. Rooney is then up a few levels from Welbeck

Hernandez does not have anything like the all round ability of Welbeck or Rooney (Or RVP) but he will score goals when he gets the chance

Personally, Id prefer Welbeck against better defenders and Chich against the lesser sides

----------------------------------------------------------------------

No it isn't too simplistic and what you wrote was trash.

Rooney has miles more his game than just running around. Welbeck doesn't.

Ok, so in games against big opposition with better defenders over the last few years who has scored more goals? I doubt the chelsea defence is that weak, i personally prefer welbeck because of his raw talent but i prefer striking from the wings, not player up front or playing as a winger, truth be told, when it comes to being a real striker he lacks so much, composure, technique, positioning, decision making etc

This is kind of very contradictory

Got a feeling Moyes will play two hard working wingers, Valencia and Young for example to track back with Baines and Coleman bombing forward.
