We keep seeing a lot of discussion about players who should go this summer or even sooner. Take Kebe, a few days ago there was a post about him staying and that this "is why we are losing money". Now, look, we don't know the details of that loan. I bet we are committed to keeping him on until the end of the season. He's injured, he isn't playing well and isn't even playing. Don't you think we would get rid? But I don't know any more than you so I have to think logically and assume BM is not a complete fool.
I am sure that if it were possible to offload players who are not playing or performing and reduce the bills I'm sure Mr. Cellino would do that.
So Kebe is here taking a wage and not playing, we have to accept that.
The second point I want to raise is the reports this week that Rudy Austin is ready to comeback. As if this is good news we all want to hear, as if we have missed him, as if our midfield has not been better without him....
Please BM do not put this waster back in the team. Talent lacking, tries hard but not good enough. Same could be said for so many of our players.
Keep Austin on the bench and don!t bring him on unless forced into it. Had so much game time, proved he should be ditched in the summer. Effort alone is not enough. We have seen a Leeds that has struggled because they are just not good enough to dominate other teams, not good enough to cope with pace, or pressure.
I look forward to the summer and to strengthening our squad but above all to pruning it and ridding it of average and below average players like Austin and many others.
Roll on the summer and roll on Cellino's revolution.
A good win today will help provide momentum and confidence but even if we do win the last few games I still want to see many getting the chop and handed their P45s.
MOT for the new season and good luck Leeds today at Barnsley.
Players etc...

Cellino will be fine in one department, when he wants a wing nut he can seek help from these boards..!
Or LUST...!

Letsgetbehindleeds,
A few on here would say "why write 50 words when you can write a 1000".
Personally I welcome posts like yours. They express detail and true feelings, not only for the poster / commenter, but for all others who have similar views and opinions along the same lines.
There are a few on here who express their views in detail and with feeling, be they long or shorter posts, and it's the details that are the key to helping others understand what the poster / commenter is saying and feeling.
Like you I think Austin should stay out of the team for rest of season, I've never been a big admirer of his even though he's had some good games.
Kebe is a bit of a mystery considering other players return to their parent clubs if they get injured.
If I remember rightly, and Stevie touched on it previously, I think the conditions were that if we get promoted he would sign a contract.
However, BM says he's injured, so why hasn't he returned to his parent club; I'm sure the details will surface in the very near future, I'm sure the media will be quick to reveal the details once they know.
Barnsley are hard to beat at home, plus, the last couple of seasons have seen us struggle against them, they're like Yeovil, hard to beat at home, but not unbeatable.
We don't have the best form going for us, even though we beat Blackpool, who are apparently playing worse than us.
I think there'll be a lot of movement from Cellino in the Summer too, no point doing anything drastic now; we can't get relegated, all but mathematically of course.
Good article LGBL, good expression of feeling and detail.

Why do people insist Kebe played terribly? I only saw him at home games but he always seemed to have the one moment where he'd do something and he always tried hard.
Leeds fans didn't give him time and we have missed out on seeing the best of a class player, and that has applied so much in recent years.
I don't blame Kebe or McDermott for recent performances. I think the blame has to be shouldered firmly by GFH/Haigh and the Leeds fans themselves

He's got a hamstring injury hasn't he, hardly grounds for sending him back.

Did anyone get your joke about the wingnut, or am I the only one, lol.

All my thumbs up are good...!
(And I mean all of them...!)
Re the wingnut, I doubt it. Most that post on here think humour is a disease to be stamped out.
One or two are just slow, well both of them actually, but I've filtered them so they'll never see them anyway.
