SO..HAIGH GONE, CELLINO IN....

2 games, 2 wins..3 scored 0 conceded....so who do we keep in summer ?...

Aye, we've got enough work to do without having to search for another quality striker/goalscorer.

Smith game has suited how we played

Struggled and ended up hit and hope

It's helped him.

That's not knocking him, I wouldn't get rid of him at all.

But if he doesn't play much next season, that's because were playing well and playing good football

Wouldn't begrudge Ross moving to a Prem team.
He's good enough. If it happened, unlike previous regimes, I believe the money would be put back into the team. Saying that, would love it if he stayed.

Wouldn't begrudge Ross going at all provided we got the right price for him

Hope he'd pick the right team that will be likely to stay up and not come straight back down

I think that the players people are looking for coming in will add to Smiths game, he gets to the high ball and does the knock ons that Ross would love, bring the wingers in that were missed for years on end and I'd think he'll do the rest!..

Smith has done well and is a great option to have.

The team need to resist hoofing it though and have some composure. Be better off playing on the ground and putting crosses in rather than hoofing and he'd still be an effective player.

Best, I agree. It's sad that pockets of English football still seem hell-bent on playing the old 'huff & puff' hoof-it style. Thankfully, there are more and more clubs here turning their backs on that style. Hopefully, LUFC under Cellino do the same, fast.

More wins = BM stays for another season...????

Maybe that is the reason why BM is not wanting to risk any games with the younger players..he is all out to impress MCellino with more wins..

Aussiekid,

Can't see BM staying at all.

Cellino has big plans, big plans require big players and a bigger manager.

Or should I say coach now.

I think BM's already been told he'll be gone end of season or so; he's not a happy chappy in his interviews and seems to feed off the commentator.

I listened to Ross's after match interview as well, he doesn't sound happy either.

Good start eh?

I also think McDermott is a dead man walking but who knows?

Keeping Ross would be a huge statement of intent but I'd like to see another striker in, no disrespect to a Smith but yes work in progress. I like Ulloa at Brighton.

Midfield will see plenty of changes, of the current first teamers only Murphy and Mowatt for me. The rest can do one but it's unlikely we'll see such sweeping changes in one window.

We really need a decent left back and another keeper. Add in a quality centre half and I can see next season moving the club in the right direction.

BM was never right for us. Let's hope if he does disappear we get someone big enough to take the challenge on.
