What a season

A lot of things we're not used to seeing are happening this season.

I know a lot of our fans don't like Liverpool (don't know why...) but I honestly don't have a problem with them winning the league, they absolutely deserve it. They play the best football despite clearly having a weaker squad than Man City, Chelsea and even us. They haven't got back to the top by using the Chelsea/Man City approach and signing every available player, they've done it the right way.

It looks like we're finally gonna end our trophy drought and we competed for the title for most of the season, but the injuries just killed us, so we've made great progress.

Man Utd have fallen out of the top 4, which is remarkable... although a lot of people expected them to decline with the appointment of Moyes, not many thought it would be to this extent.

Jose's home record is gone...

It's been a great season full of surprises, hopefully more of the same next season.

So yes, they've played some top draw football, but every other top 4 team could do that if they had their starting 11 fresh and uninjured every game.

A Mourinho team could never play football like this seasons Liverpool side.

But the injuries are our fault. Poor medical staff, lack of decent back for certain players when there's more than enough money there, embarrassing transfer windows.

how can you say that injuries are our own fault?

Is this a joke GT? The answer is above your facking question... the reasons for our players getting injured are without doubt at least partly OUR fault.
A Ramsey Shawcross nightmare injury is obviously not Arsenals fault but the constant muscle problems and hilarious recovery times for minor injuries does not happen over and over and over again without there being a reason for it and bad luck is not a reason.

Forgive me for not beaming from ear to ear at Moyes taking a team of league winners to 7th place

Yeah true...our muscular problems are an issue that needs to be sorted out. But it's an issue of several years now.

We burn out our main players and overplay them. We need to invest in "real" depths in this team. The basis is already there.

Good to see that you now agree with me

Dr Cunni And Batmanu sum my thoughts up.

There are positives. We've made some progress. But not nearly as much as you think, Kamran. Fourth, in a season where many teams have arguably gone backwards, isn't really huge improvement. The cup is great if we win it and hopefully it'll bring more in future because of the winning mentality it could instill.

"no one knows.....what if we would have bought Suarez and our injury list were the same?"

Will you please let it rest. You would swear our freak injury list was a one off, it happens every season and is no longer an excuse. Injuries is one of the biggest problems under the current regime and we will never compete over 38 games until that changes.

In principles it was my view before mate but who knows about Suarez at Arsenal wouldnt be different?

Penguin, we are not far away from the big teams. We were top of the table in December and for most of the season.
