Well now...

...admittedly 2 wins without concession against relegation fodder, and it's almost too early to say, but at the same time almost too late - were it not for the 3 months of takeover uncertainty, where might we have been in the table given that we were 5th when it all kicked off?

Are BM and his/Colin's squad playing for their futures with 5 games (including the last 2) to go, or as BM has always maintained, are we seeing the true colours of this side without the shackles of the takeover to burden them? The poor run was always going to come to an end, but is it coincidence or significant that the return to form and results has come now?

Whilst I don't think that the "run" will save those players whose contracts are due to expire this summer and possibly next, the future of BM is another kettle of fish altogether.

He has always pleaded for a chance to be judged as a manager without the hinderance of internal politics and the behind the scenes lunacy that has been the bread and butter of LUFC in recent years - what's the betting he will get his chance under Cellino given that Cellino has stated that he wants BM to prove he's a good manager?

It could all still go mammaries up in the final 3 games but it wouldn't surprise me if we won all 3. With this team it would seem anything is possible.

Whatever, another win, another clean sheet, another goal for Ross, another rare weekend when we can smile and say a la Billy Davies - job done.

Bring on Forest - another team like both Blackpool and Barnsley who have humiliated us in the recent past - come uppance anybody?

"We beat udders and Yeovil, both had force ten gales in our favour. Most jumped up and down with excitement saying we're back.

I looked at the situation and suggested we wait till the team plays in normal football weather, when they did look what happened."

Kev, don't talk about it, I now how it is, and what you say is bull!..

I'm going through the same junk now, two months more then holiday period, then no work!..

I go to work, do what I have to, and hope it gets better!..

If not then 26yrs for this firm was nothing!..

I do not want to get up in the mornings, and I know how our players must have felt not knowing what was coming next, and yes the same players stopped us going down!..

Would they have done that if they weren't getting their fair pay?..

I wouldn't say yes but at the same time I wouldn't say no!..

It could have gone any way but luck had it they got a helping hand!..

I'll do my work in the hope it gets better, even though people around me are saying go sick and flup them!..

Its all ok people on a forum saying the customer this customer that, but you are the customer, have you ever tried what they had to?..

Germany. How you feel about your job is one thing. But how you do it is another thing. We are all responsible for the work we do,and if you can't or wont do it right, you can leave. Some of us have jobs that we cannot take in a foolhardy way.If we do not do it correctly, regardless if we are getting paid or not,we are still responsible for the work or how it's done. There are laws that make us neglegent if we get it wrong. What is bull.... about that?.These players were not on the breadline, and by all accounts were only half a months pay short....And maybe if they had a taste of life like the rest of us(a threat of dole money)maybe they would have done a bit more. Some are picking up good wages and not even playing.....And next time someone does a bad job for you,you are telling me you would not complain about the work you have paid for, even if they told you life has been hard on them.

So, you should try getting money docked and seeing how you feel!..

They have things to pay the same as anyone, maybe they have a bit more to pay and what they've been docked is bringing them behind on payments!..

Costomer service, my first job when leaving school I was a butcher, they'll tell you the customer is always right!..

Maye they are, but try giving the bucher his notice or less pay, and see if he agrees with you!..

The gas man that you say, he could either refuse to do the job, or he has to do it right, because him doing it wrong could cost someone their lives!..

I do not think a football player not giving his all is going to cost "the clubs" customer their lives!..

"and if you can't or wont do it right, you can leave."

Read what I said again, then I'll tell you I don't really care about the customer!..

Maybe something like what our players thought!..

"And next time someone does a bad job for you,you are telling me you would not complain about the work you have paid for, even if they told you life has been hard on them."

Do you really think they'd be that bothered if they new at the end off the day they have no work!..

Like I said, I'm doing my work hoping it gets better, but I'm at the thought that it isn't going to and I don't really give a zit about what anyone thinks about my work!..

"bucher"

Oppp's, got another wrong!.

Mr T where are ya?.

Germany.Regardless of what you think about your job, there are laws that say how it should be done for most of us.But that is the difference between some of these footballers and the rest of us,they cannot be prosecuted or sacked if they get it wrong or have a bad attitude.I bet if you poisoned someone when you were a butcher, and you said "well I didn't get paid last week",the health people would not accept that as an excuse. I did not ask you if they would be bothered if they did a bad job for you....I asked if you would be bothered to complain because you had paid good money for a bad job done.

Kev, tell me about the law and how it can be inforced, I'd be interested to know!..

A person doing his job that knows he's nothing to work for, try asking him/she how bothered they are in their last few weeks about how the work looks, then try and use the law against him/her!..

Fair one, some jobs it can be used, the gas man is a good example, but only if he brings others into danger!..

" I did not ask you if they would be bothered if they did a bad job for you....I asked if you would be bothered to complain because you had paid good money for a bad job done."

And I said I don't think it'd bother the worker one bit!..

His/her bosses maybe, but not the worker!..

So, like I asked, have you ever been there?..

I've been looking at these post's now since McD got the sack, odd one that, my Mother had her birthday on the 30 January, I sent her flowers over and on that day I remember,(Eric, no meme!)I remember thinking happy birthday ma, you should have got them now!..

You now what, less then an hour later I was sent for and after about five minutes with my bosses I'd got my notice!..

3 others got theirs aswell, but they were called in together and because of the lengh off time I was there,(sorry here!)they sent for me alone!..

They told me things could get better and if it does they'll rip the notice up!..

So, like I said back there somewhere, another two months work then my rest holidays!..

I'm not holding out for it to get better, people are telling me to go sick, but if I do and it does get better then I've no chance of keeping my job!..

But like I said, I'm living it, I don't think you have any clue as to what its like, and anybody in my shoes won't give a buck about what the customer may think!..

I was keeping it to myselfe because its not really anything anyone is going to worry themselves over, but its just a churning feeling I get when people come on about McD and his sacking and the players not playing right when as far as I saw it they had no grounds too!..

Odd how they get paid and stop us going down don't you think!..

"30 January"....somewhere around the time McD got the sack!..

2020, well put.

The takeover had a massive influence.

I think BM's position was severely undermined though, just not sure how much credibility he has in the dressing room after that and I just can't see him lasting long under Cellino.

I think 99% of fans would agree that the road to success is built on stability, especially in the managerial department.

Germany, completely agree with what you're saying. I think any normal person would find it very very difficult to focus as normal on their job in hand.

Jonty!....I think Kev may find that in this situation some might turn off in the hope they get thrown out!..

That way like McD they'd have any payment due owed straight away!..

A shame McD didn't stay away, that way the blame would have focused more on the dumbasses it belongs!..
