Have we ever had an Italian play for LUFC?

Title says it all really.

I thought exactly this around 2002 ish when Roque Junior signed. Ever since then I don't think we have ever had an Italian grace Elland Road in the white shirt.

Can anyone think of any?

If there hasn't been any- do you think this will dramatically change in the summer?

Danny Cadamarteri played one match for us in 2004 (League Cup). His mum was Italian (or at any rate had Italian ancestry).

John Charles of course - an honorary Italian in the eyes of Juventus fans.

And we signed Andrea Tabanelli on loan . . .

Danny Cadamarteri's mother is as English as I am! I used to work at the same place as she did.
