Realistically what can we expect?

So looking at what we need and what we have, everyone is in agreement that wholesale changes to the playing squad, are required for us to be anywhere near successful next season.

Here is my opinion on the squad and what we need -

1x goalkeeper ( One to push Kenny for number 1 spot)

2x fullbacks with quality and pace

1 x Quality and I mean quality Centre back maybe even 2.

2 x Centre midfielders; mix of guile,workrate,class.

2 x Quality Wingers, they have to be pacey and strong.

1 x Partner for Ross with goals in him.

1 x number 10 with great ability to see a pass.

I see this as the bare minimum and I also cant see us getting it. How much will it all cost? Will MC cancel contracts? can he afford to?

Opinions?

Obviously relies on clubs not getting promoted.

For me those are players that would enhance performances of our better players. And are a good balance of playing styles that would compliment each other. Was just a quick list though so will have flaws

Doubt we could get Hughes but Martin isn't a bad call at all

Bentley from Southend, a quality CB, Andy Reid, Adomah and Troy Deeney would be an excellent start

Just read a few comments from Victor Ibarbo (Caglagri striker)

Interesting answer of ''We'll see'' when asked about a move to Leeds.

Doubt we would get him, but would add so much pace.

I reckon we'll be in for a few surprises. Expect a mixture of younger English players and some experienced players probably from Italy and probably a few on loan.

If Cellino is banking on promotion in 2015/16 he needs to virtually replace the whole squad

We need players who can get us promoted within 2 seasons and the majority must also be good enough to play in the premier league

Cellino cannot afford to sign players to get us promoted and then cull again to compete in the prem

The quality must be there in Cellino's second year and then add to it if we are promoted

Not sure any of our current squad will be around in 2 years time frankly

If more than 2 or 3 survive we will still be in the championship

I thought that was a definitive statement rather than an either or?
