Ozil's Excited and Happy !

Mesut posted this on his official facebook page

“Dear fans, I’m still happy about the fact that I was able to play last Sunday for Arsenal. and we even won 3:0. I think that we are on the way up after a rather difficult time…

“There are only two goals for the rest of the season: to be among the first four of the Premier League and to win my first title this year in the UK – the FA Cup! all we need is 4 x 90 minutes of full concentration and then it’s all in our hands.

“I can’t wait to play for the first time in Wembley as a Gunner after missing the semi-final due to my injury.

“I want to thank all who supported me during the last weeks – especially you! I constantly followed your comments on Facebook. I was really happy about all the get well soon wishes during these difficult moments. Your Mesut."

Beautiful, if we win the FA cup he'll do what the likes of Cesc, RVP, Hleb, Ade, Nasri etc.. failed to do (inspire us to silverware) so will already exceed their status at the club (bar Cesc) imo. Him and Koscielney are our 2 world class players at the club and hopefully Kos will stay and we can get a good striker for Mesut with Theo to come back we'll be incredible going forward next season

Nappyrash certainly seems butthurt.

Özil is top class, been far better this season then many will want you to believe. Next season will only be even better.

cesc fabregas couldn't inspire us to anything, he was one of the most useless arsenal captains , and one who secretly engineered his move to his great love Barcelona, but justice has been served, his arrival at Barcelona signalled the decline of a great team, even his boyhood hero pep jumped ship leaving him in the lurch, he has become the symbol of Barcelonas decline that is why they jeer at him with no mercy , it serves him right, he was a failure at arsenal and his an even bigger failure at Barcelona , ozil might have only joined us but he has inspired our team greatly, if we win the fa cup with his influence then he will have surpassed fabregas alleged status at our club.

I don't think that's true, he took a penalty with a broken leg and threw Pizza at United players!
As for Ozil doing more to inspire, like what? He missed his penalty...

Taking a penalty with a broken leg isn't inspirational, it's stupidity.

indeed ozil did miss his penalty but but if he were to inspire us to an fa cup victory then he would have done more then fabregas ever did, maybe you could say throwing a pizza at United players is something special but the taking of a penalty with a supposed leg break means nothing, we can't exactly put his broken leg in our trophy cabinet now can we?

Well I suppose not, would be an interesting idea, though. How could we get it?

I think it'd be a little unfair to blame Cesc for our failure to win anything while he was here, not least when we had Almunia in goal and the likes of Denilson and Djourou running around. Also alot of the youth are maturing now; Ox, Ramsey, Wilshere, Gibbs even Walcott, our squad depth has improved since Cesc. that said, Ozil is great

Fabregas started the cup final in 2005 so Ozil would only equal his medal/silverware tally. Not sure how you measure how inspirational they each were though.

Inspirometer.

Cesc just broke into an already great team though understandably he was young but was far from the main guy despite his soaring talent even then.

If we win the FA Cup you can't say that the signing of Ozil hasn't turned things round, it has and he's played his part, this competition especially . So being 1 of the main men to guide us to success would make him surpass the 2011 bottlers like RVP, Nasri etc.. Cesc is debatable but I've expressed my thoughts
