So it seems the whole world is against us tonight
The mirror have gone with 2 articles today on why atletico are the neutrals choice and why Simeone is the best thing since sliced bread
No mention of chelsea yet again flying the flag for English football yet again and keeping arsenal in "trophys"
But do I care ?!?
Well a little, it does hurt seeing the club you love berated week in week out whatever they do.
The fact remains though is however much we get pushed? However much we are urged to fail... Chelsea always, always come good in the face of adversity we always deliver no matter what.
I thoroughly enjoy seeing opposition fans and journos inability to keep there jealousy from bubbling over. I love how we play, I live the fact that our manager and back room staff meticulously evaluated the strengths of our team and the weaknesses of others to win at all costs. If arsenal did that they would have not been trophy less of 9 years, if Liverpool had done it they would have won their first premier league title by now.
I have no doubts in my mind that all the hate and bile that gets thrown at us it only makes us stronger and that is what Jose is best at.
I just find it a sad state of affairs that he English press are almost giddy white the thought of us losing in Europe.

When did the Daily Mirror start representing “the whole world”?
I’ve seen loads of people praising you for the performance against Liverpool.. Several people described it as a “masterclass”, both in the print media and amongst the pundits. I saw Gary Neville praising it, Carragher, Shearer, Lawrenson, and again Townsend last night.
You’re going to get some critics because everybody gets them....., we all have different tastes.
What do you want, a Cathedral built in Jose’s honour, because he kept a clean sheet?
I guess it’s Fiona’s appraisal that really hurts...
