xbox one is better?

my mate says xbox one is superior to ps4 - xbox one will harness more power fromt he cloud and be 3x as powerful as the box in ur house. What do u say to this?

also said ps4 has no games

The Xboxone and PS4 are both really good systems, really hardly anything between them, it just comes down to preference, and maybe a little bit of console loyalty.

It's a matter of what YOU want personally. If you want a little more gaming power, get a PS4. If you prefer the extra TV stuff or kinect, get an Xbox. And so far, both consoles seem to have OK exclusives, but nothing groundbreaking - yet.

Literally buy what your friends do. There's barely any difference. Pick what you prefer the games on too. Wait for E3 in June when they unveil all their upcoming games and see which you like more is my advice.

I own a PS4. The systems are pretty identical in reality- the thing that swings it for me is the controllers and Naughty Dog.

Most people have nailed it - what exclusives you like, what you friends have. All the "more power" stuff is PR bullox. The cloud is nothing but dedicated servers that we have had for years (like many people said it was). The thing that tips it for me is PS+ which i feel is still leaps and bounds a head of Microsofts offering, but then i also have a PS3 and Vita so works out more value for money for me

Na, for most people it wont matter, and yes it is all blown out of proportion, but one thing that stands out is that PS4 games will be running on 1080p, whereas the Xbox equivalents apparently only run on 720p. Quite a lot of people, especially those who play games a lot, will definitely notice the difference.

This is merely a 1st gen hick up, and even some games (watchdog) the ps4 isnt able to manage the magic 1080. By the end of the year both systems will be doing the exact same thing, and i would imagine a few games will get patched ala CoD

I think somones alreayd mentioned it...Get what most of your friends have.

Games swap, online play etc.....

if you have now freinds at all, live in a closet, and ave no social life, get a top end gaming PC.

and if your really socially inept, install Linux

I agree with most of the posts on here. I'd consider myself a bit of a sony person, I've always loved their stuff and their brand but I actually went with the xbox one. I just like the exclusive games more on the xbox. Only Uncharted really grabs me on the PS.

Got to say, I adore the XB1, its fantatsic and all this guff about power and resolution is, as other say, just PR rubbish. I disagree that people who play games alot will notice, its all about how big you TV screen is really. If you playing on a 70" TV get a PS4, if not, get what your friends have, what exclusives you like etc

The Playstation has always been a superior device. Nothing has changed

Tech wise the PS4 has more power and is outselling the xone by a large margin, Kinect is now optional and is not being sold with every xone so is no real advantage in general people seem to be choosing the PS4
