That doesn't explain why a German footballer would include a Union Flag in his personal merchandise logo. Not that I'm all precious about the flag or anything, it just doesn't make sense.

Oh right... well i imagine he likes it here along with the moniker we've given him.
Also the union flag is often used in fashion. You're right, it isnt very well thought out and i imagine they applied that same thinking when including it in the logo
