Play off ticket rip off

On albins website on Sunday it stated only season ticket holders and president members could purchase tickets from the club.
Everyone else had to buy from seetickets on line paying a booking fee of £2.40.
I purchased 6 tickets but was charged booking fee of £3 per ticket.
Not really a issue until you realise that Fleetwood fans are buying tickets directly from their ground with no booking fee.
Then because they still have tickets left that season ticket / presidents haven't purchased the Albion put these on sale at the ground with no booking fee.
I'm by no means tight but just don't like being ripped off.
Add to this the £25 coach fee when Southend was £12 someone is taking the mickey out of genuine fans.

Like me I know quite a few people who are going to both Derby and Burton. The Derby tickets were obviously do much more expensive than Burtons. I managed to get cat 2 tickets for Burton for less than I paid for cat 4 for Derby. The coaches for both do seen expensive even taking into account the parking so I decided to drive and tube it in.

I agree - this is one of those once-in-a-lifetime occasions where rational consideration of the expense goes out the window. If it wasn't for the fact I'd already arranged to go to California on vacation then I'm sure I would've flown across the Atlantic just to experience the finest moment in Brewers history as they gain promotion to League 1.
As it is, I'll be following along on my laptop at 7am local time.
UTB!!! You can do it!

Hey Pez! Simple solution...don't go. You're a Mansfield supporter anyway, aren't you? What about the protest you had planned a few years ago on the CTMD board against Ben Robinson and the appointment of Gary Rowett as manager? Changed your tune now, haven't you?

I've been lucky enough to see Swindon three times at the 'old' Wembley and twice at the new. I have no idea what each occasion cost and don't care. I can however remember each occasion, the euphoria and the disappointments, and it was worth whatever it cost and more. My memories go back to 1969 and are, literally, priceless.

Pez you amaze me.Your a friend of mine as they all know on here but you do annoy me at times.Your football awareness is first class and you are a very interesting bloke to talk to as you travel around the country to watch various standards of football. To gripe about a few quid to go and watch your favourite team in the biggest match in the clubs history astounds me.Yes brewer 1 Pez does go and watch Mansfield as he does other teams and thats his choice and we shouldnt bite at him for that he loves his football.Pez i hope to see you at wembley with your boots blacked and roar the Brewers on to victory and in to league 1 then perhaps you will get the more attractive football you crave for.

Good views all.
Earwig, we're I spend my money is up too me.
JFW, you must be gutted.know how much brewers means to you.
Stuart 44. Good points.do think Derby being there on Saturday won't help Mondays attendance.
OTEP, yes been to some of those myself so seeing Brewers at Wembley will be surreal .
Brewers county, at least you agree with me about coaches. Lot of money as you said.
Boston brewer,enjoy your trip.
Brewer1, we've had words before so as I said before I spend my money were I want.nobody as a right to tell me to stay away.
Dontouchmyboots, take it your on about the Don Rogers days. now I am showing my age.
Emnez my friend.
All I was saying is why should 2 sets of fans be charged different prices for watching the same game from same seats.
Doesn't seem quite right to me.
Thanks for sticking up for me.
I will be one of those that will be there Saturday as well as Monday.
I will be accused by some of being a Derby fan next.
As you know I want to be entertained when watching football .
Why do you think I've only seen Man Utd once this season.
As you know I've seen Utd in champions league finals but this will mean more.
Can't wait my friend.
See you there.
Level 2 Block 249. Give us a wave.

I dare not ask the question but I shall Don. Is it still a great day if you lose?

For the record, I am confident that we will win this and I am a football pessimist.

If we lose I'm not going to let it spoil my day ,I'm just going to love seeing the brewers walk out at wembley with my dad (82) and my son(11) I was there in 1987 the day flashes by so quick just take everything in you can UTB.

Pez...yes, you're quite right, it was the Don Rogers era. I can still see him walking the ball around the prostrate Bob Wilson for our third and making the game safe for us. The pure elation was indescribable.

Otep...it's not so great when you loose but it's still better to have had the experience than not at all. It's part of the club's history and heritage, all the more important if, like us, you support a lower league team. Many lower league fans never get that opportunity.

I sense a belief in the club and the fans that this is winnable and it's a view I share. I hope it's a great day for the Brewers.
