Wigan chairman wants to sign union players

agree all teams should tap up union they have done it to us for years time to hit back

It would cost to much money to entice them over to league.

Craig Wing had trouble getting his 3rd party bonus and packed his bags for union in Japan......it would cost 600k a season to bring him back to league.
I don't know how wealthy the England rugby union is, but the Aussie union are sitting on millions.

We (rugby league) just couldn't compete against them, besides it would take a season or two for even the most talented player to adjust and play at his best....not worth it I say...cheers

I don't even know if Rugby League clubs in the UK even scout union players nowadays do they?
I'm sure there are union players who would be much better suited to playing Rugby League than union playing outside the top tier of union who Rugby League could afford, but the problem would be identifying them.
