Weekly 5's Report

Firstly good to see CT and NNH back on the park looking unaffected by injuries.

Last night was an absolute humping.

CT's side destroyed us from start to finish.

They attacked fast, passing was quick, fluid and precise, defending was solid as a team. Everything was spot on, no one had a poor game

Us on the other hand

We attacked slowly taking so long to pass that we allowed them to get back and defend. Our passing when we did try to pass was scrappy or as often was the case the wrong choice. We were constantly caught not tracking back which partly was down to us bombing forward only for the passing to to wrong and getting hit on the break. (I even had a wee hissy for the first time in a game)

Luck wasn't on out side either, NNH smashed the post 3 or 4 times and Hoops blocked a few of my shots I was certain were in whereas at the other end it was going in off the post or deflecting in.

Golden Ball for me was either Hoops or CT's mate though anyone of them could have been nominated.

Golden Goal probably one of our few goals. Coisty and NNH smashed it into the top corner but Ghod's goal where he precisely stroked it into the corner after a great passing move was superb.

All in all a great evening for the victors and a frustrating evening for us.

I suggest we find elsewhere to play as the 7's pitch is £79 but only big enough for 6's so it's pretty expensive. If that's us back to regular 12's let's look at Soccerworld or Firhill again.
