We’ve got the most complete squad we’ve had in a long time, our starting XI looks very strong, we’ve got decent squad depth and the best manager around. I think it is fair to say there is plenty to be optimistic about heading in to the new season but does anyone think we’ll fail to be crown Premier League champions this season?
I’m not taking anything for granted, City are a phenomenal team and if they keep Toure they’ve address pretty much there only weakness in Mangala and will battle all the way. United will be a new team and I’ve no doubt will have a fresh spring in their step and Liverpool I just don’t know, could go either way. Arsenal have of course strengthened too.
I’m going to be frim in my predication for Chelsea to be PL champions and I actually think we’ve got a very good chance in the CL too this year. I can’t really pick between City and United for second but pressed my top 5 in order are:
Chelsea
City
United
Arsenal
Liverpool
Come on then, get off that fence.
Will we be champions come May?

Metro...
Crespo had a difficult first season under Ranieri, went on loan in his 2nd season and was world class for us in his 3rd and last last season, you can spout you stats but they are meaningless in isolation.

The reasons I think Oscar could become a Beckham style player is because Oscar is actually a very good crosser of the ball from wide positions, he has decent but not amazing pace, but he does have amazing stamina. He does have a decent free kick on him and chips in with goals. He does not have the long passing range of Beckham (that was in his latter career stage) but for me there are many similarities to Beckham in his earlier days

Atleast when schrulle is playing a shocker he runs in behind, creates space and runs at players.

I agree with this, it's one of the things I like about him in that he's always a goal threat even when he plays badly. Some of the goals he's scored he would be having a terrible match otherwise (first half of Fulham he was poor, City match he was poor, PSG anonymous prior to goal). I'm starting to think more and more for most games he should start over Willian.

Bk your agreeing with me a lot recently... you may not have noticed it, but im feeling the love...
