So every manager that takes a player to more than one club is his 'bum buddy' is that what you're saying....?
-------------
Yeah, like Harry Redknapp & Defoe, Harry Redknapp & Crouch, Harry Redknapp & Nico Kranjiar(sp?)
But no not really, by bum buddy i mean they've worked together in the past so have a better starting point that we do in any potential transfer.
If it was a choice between a really likeable, knowledgable Dougie Freedman who i'd worked with in the past or a unsuccesful non-league manager, and semi successful coach in Hockaday......well id pick Leeds but he's more likely to choose Wee Dougie

Murray would be exactly what we need, someone proven at this level,
Just hope his injury is behind, coming back after a long lay off can take time to get going again

Proven goal scorer at this level.
As long as he can get a couple of goals early on i think he would settle.
If he dosent then the fans get on his back and then questions start getting raised about his injuries and is he past his best etc.
Really hope he aint going to be used as part of a palace bid for Pearce though

Matty we are looking at a centre back from Chesterfield...

Yeah I read that, does not look good.
We cant afford to lose Pearce, not after we lost Ross.
Our defense is shockingly thing and losing our best defender would really make it difficult

This is the type of transfer I'd avoid.
He scored a lot of goals and got Palace promoted but then missed the reward of that through injury.
will he have the desire to come and do it all again?

Best Fans
Why would you avoid the transfer in of a player that scored lots of goals and helped promoted then had the temerity to miss his reward through injury...?
