There are buffoons and then there's........

.........................................................................................................................................................................................Shaun Harvey.

Vanishing spray was used during the World Cup to great effect and is to be embraced by the Premier League this coming season.

Apparently though it's not good enough for the Football League to consider yet in league matches. They want to trial it. The quote below is from the BBC website: -

"Football League chief executive Shaun Harvey said: "The introduction of vanishing spray into the Johnstone's Paint Trophy will give us the opportunity to observe its use in domestic football so that we can better understand its effect on the flow of the game." "

What's to understand???

Harvey's mind - that's what. Good riddance to bad rubbish but what a buffoon to have as head of the FL.

And then I think of who we have now at our club and the potential to move forward for the first time in years and I just breathe a sigh of immense relief.

Just a shame we can't make Harvey vanish from football altogether.

Bring on the new season - not long to go now

Probably looking to shake down the manufacturer for a few shekels before they agree to use.Nothing would surprise me with these parasites. MOT

He will probably try Tesco Value Shaving foam first to see if he can save a few pence.

Players will at least smell nice if they slip on it

We're Leeds United. We're dirty. We don't want to smell nice.

I'd put Harvey in charge of vanishing spray to be fair... Things vanish, around him... all those millions at leeds?

No doubt Shaun is working his socks off for a promotional angle on this one. Are johnstone's launching a new paint removal product?

To be fair it's only be tested at the World Cup Finals so it needs testing in a proper competition like the Johnstone's Pants Trophy. I think that Harvey has a point. Unfortunately it's on the top of his head.
