Re Bates, he was two owners ago. Some of us have moved on from him, but I suppose that's just you bringing up the history of the club again. He was in charge for years and every season you bleated about not giving him money, then promptly gave him money.

I openly boycotted, I grant you that, and if you want to criticise me for that good on yer.

I suggested we Boycott the Man Utd game and I did so because we'd have had the world and his brother watching on TV what a great opportunity to show Bates he wasn''t wanted. I didn't go to that game, you did, that was your protest.

I suggested the fans that marched in protest to the stadium and then paid to go through the turnstiles whilst Bates watched smiling should actually have marched from the ground into town and give their money to charity shops as a showing of opposition. With the press alongside them they would have got the point across a lot sooner.

Do you remember also me breaking my boycott to attend the game following Gary Speed's death, the only game I went to that season. I do, I remember you criticising me for that too.

I think we have to be fair here. I went on Saturday and watched our new signings closely. I came away thinking Bianchi was some find - and really liked what I saw of Doukara. BUT that was against a bang average Dundee side. I think they'll be good, I think they'll improve us against CCC sides - only time will tell though. Lets hope they're all great signings.
