Apparently he's going to Sheffield Wednesday for a seven figure fee, with the transfer going to be concluded tomorrow after St Johnstone get pumped out of Europe tonight. Although I think he's going regardless if they get through or not.
Given that they were close to selling him for a quarter of that figure in January I think they've got themselves a good deal.
It's another blow to our league though to see yet another young talent leave after only one season doing the business up here, but that's the way of the world.
Hopefully he kicks on down there and does well. And gets a haircut.

Nobody else seemed to come in for him Tino, which surprised me too.
I like him as a player. I think he's still a bit raw and rough round the edges but he's got a nose for a goal and you can't teach that. With a bit of coaching he could be a very good player.

interested to see how Robertson does at Hull that'll be a good test for him....then it's a case of if/when Souttar moves south I guess

Souttar is a long way off at the moment. His form dipped dramatically last season after he turned down a move to Sunderland. He needs to get himself reestablished in the United team and I'm not entirely convinced he's going to do that any time soon unless he finds some aggression to add to his game.
I wouldn't be surprised if he moves into the midfield at some point.
And I also think his brother will be the better player of the two.

I wasn't hugely surprised at the Gauld move. He's wanted to go and at that time his mentor Cathro was at Rio Ave (although he's since moved to be assistant manager at Valencia). I personally think it's a great move for him and hopefully he'll get a decent amount of game time this season.
