So despite getting beat 6-1 on aggregate, Celtic are now back in the champions league.
What a mistake by the Legia manager, he only brought on the ineligible player for the last 2 mins

The day we can spend £100m on a handful of players will be the day you stop thinking apples and bananas are the same thing.

What on earth have Arsenal got to do with this article?

Gary Neville thinks we'd currently be looking at 8th. I'd say we'd be lower mid-table with this current squad and manager.
However, Celtic are a debt-free club that turns a profit- if it suddenly stepped into an extra £90m of television revenue and the increased ticketing prices that would likely ensue from having a 60,000 stadium in the Premier League then we'd obviously be making great signings and likely pushing further up the league. Whenever this hypothesis is made people seem to think we'd just carry on with the squad we had and not spend anything- like that would happen!

If Celtic or Rangers entered right now they'd be in the bottom half trying to survive. If they do they'd become a solid mid table side occasionally challenging the likes of Everton and Tottenham for a Europa spot. Think people overestimate stadium size. Couldltic may be historically bigger but brandwise Arsenal now are a bigger side. Celtic and Rangers will be competing with stronger sides and brands. Not going to be easy.

Celtic have no debt though, I am not going merely by stadium size. But if we suddenly come into all of this money we'd have a lot of it to keep. Of course costs would rise too, but we'd be in a great financial position to compete for players. Brand firms have also stated that whilst Celtic are currently in the top forty brands in World Football they are restricted by the league they play in, and have said that were we playing in England for example we could become a top ten brand.
In other words Celtic's financial position would be among the strongest in World Football if it came into that television revenue, but I agree that the first few years would be difficult in making that transition.

Incredibly harsh punishment. I bet UEFA wont be so harsh if barca, PSG made similar error. They can get away with breaking FFP rules and forging transfer documents but Small polish club made an error to bring on a suspended player for the last 4 mins when they lead the tie 6-1, Lets go and crush them, welldone UEFA

Only because of EPL money. That is the only reason. You can dress it up any way you want but money talks.
In the same pond celtic would be far bigger than most current EPL teams. If you add tv money to their massive fan base abd tradition worldwide, then they'd quickly be up there.
I'm not a fan of them, just recognise a proper old school ledgendary team.
And yes, very very harsh punishment on legia. Silly really.
