JAMES Forrest is restored to the starting XI for the first time in over five months as Celtic kick off the defence of their league crown away to St Johnstone.
The winger is one of two changes to the team that took on Legia Warsaw last week in the capital, with Craig Gordon also coming into the side.
Fraser Forster – who departed for Southampton at the weekend - and Charlie Mulgrew drop out of the team. New signing Jason Denayer is named among the substitutes.
Kick off at McDiarmid Park is 7.45pm and there will be live updates on the club’s official Twitter feed: @celticfc
CELTIC (4-4-2) Gordon; Matthews, Lustig, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Forrest, Bitton, Johansen, McGregor; Commons, Stokes
Subs: Zaluska, Ambrose, Boerrigter, Berget, Pukki, Kayal, Denayer
No Mulgrew or Griffiths on the bench. I wonder if they r in the bad books with Ronny.
