Juyst realised who he was....his passing is one of those which takes a little bit away from u.

5pm on a Saturday, had the paper and pen ready to write down all the results so my dad could read at his leisure

You could almost know what the results were with the way he was saying them
Especially when a match was drawn, funny what you remember

This chap John Motson and David Coleman were the people you could instantly recognise, but a lot never knew his name. Strange isn't it..?
