For me it seems that United are very determined to stay in contention with the top 4 and the EPL title. So much so they have gambled a lot of money to do so.
But as we know just throwing money at things doesn't always get you places over night. (Tottenham, Leeds, Liverpool a few years back and it City took 3 seasons to compete).
Di Maria and Falcao have never played in England before and it really is make or break in my book.
If there is no CL footy in the next 2 years, then United will be in the same financial trouble that Liverpool were in a few years back.
If these signings pay off then United are back in contention and all could be saved.

Suggesting a diagnosis of Aspergers using an internet forum is for me pushing it, but Winston certainly is an unusual ja606 user.
Only he knows whether he deliberately sets out to antagonise others on this forum, but his condescending, patronising tone marks him out as a complete douche.
He appears to hate any suggestion that he has an anti Liverpool agenda, yet has been banned from the Liverpool board and the admin have clarified that before the ban he made more comments than he did the team he professes to support.
He appears to have a complete unwillingness to accept others opinions, and quickly amps up the condescension and any "debate" quickly turns into a semantic argument over the meaning of individual words.
Autistic/Douche/WUM/Personality Disorder. - All plausible really.
