Morning lads. I hope everyone slept well after all the frantic goings on last night.
So, all in all not a bad transfer day for us, although I'm disappointed we couldn't offload Johnson. Good luck to Doyle, but I feel he will be joining both Hennessey and Guedioura on the bench during his time at Palace.
I'm still of the belief that having got the 3 players thus far, we're more than capable of handling any injuries that may happen. Now I admit I haven't seen many games under KJ, but the style of football he's introduced is one reason we're getting very few injuries. When you let the ball do the work, it reduces the chances of players picking up little niggles. Last season we saw very few and without putting the mockers on it, this season is flowing nicely too. There's always a danger though when players go off on International duty, playing a different style according to who the head coach is. Fingers crossed they all came back injury free.
I'm sure KJ has realised that we could be without our main striker in January if Mali qualify and is on the look-out for cover.
With O'Hara, Doumbia, Ward and Doyle of the wage bill and hopefully Johnson and Foley soon too, it must surely free up some money to even buy another striker.
I'd pay off the contracts of both Margrietter and Boukari and hope Sigurdarson regains his fitness as he will be back with us when Moldes' season finishes soon.

Feel free to delete this, Wolfie but most clubs during a transfer window aim to buy players to strengthen their squads. Wolves, however, do the opposite. They strengthen their squad by getting rid of players.
And unfortunately, you haven't managed to strengthen by getting shot of Roger Johnson, Margreitter and other deadbeats.
Oh well, that's the reality of life down in the boondocks of the lower leagues.

I only delete comments that are way off the subject and are personal. (hence Butey's above). But feel free to post on here mate and I don't normally get involved in banter between fans of other clubs.
I will say however that the our back 4 at the moment are substantially better than Foley, Berra, Johnson and Ward.
You may or may not have noticed the transition that KJ has made since he arrived. We are a club on the way up and be careful, you're not exactly setting the Premier League alight with your manager and I do believe you're in a relegation dogfight already.
