How do you know? He hasn't even played yet, he might be facking amazing for us this season, he might be absolutely awful, which is why I said, I'll reserve judgement until they've played together for a few months before complaining about everything that van Gaal has done

Jspc on here is a bit of a Portuguese league expert and he said plenty of sporting fans were laughing at us for buying him saying he was average.

I hope they're wrong but we'll see. We could have gotten Garay early who IMO is a very good CB and gone all out for a top right back.

The vast majority of successful teams have a solid defence and i think that's what LvG should have concentrated on first.

I would have been very happy with a summer of Garay, Shaw, Lichsteiner, Di Maria, Herrera and De Jong.

And we're also assuming here that Welbeck wanted to stay at Man Utd to be 3rd choice

And Lichtsteiner wasn't available this summer, so he wasn't coming

And Licht is a bit injury prone aswell, fantastic player though
