Yes, but we have lots of attacking players in the England squad - but no defensive midfield player. That's the position we are lacking

You've never replaced Claude but for you guys, at least from the outside looking in, your attacking strengths these days mean you don't need a Claude so much anymore? Maybe more so when you're playing in Europe but not the league.
We obviously have Cambiasso but we need someone like that in the middle and we wouldn't have won yesterday if it hadn't been for him. You might think I'm crazy but he really could be playing for you because he's still world class, he really showed his quality when he came on and certainly wouldn't look out of place amongst your stars.
I think he would have been a great signing for any team in this league in my opinion, I'm still not sure there are many better defensive midfielders in the world than Cambiasso. If you signed someone like him as well that really would complete your squad.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I really like Chelsea these days and even though I do have a soft spot for Man City because I think they're a proper club with proper fans, who have been there in Division 4 and the CL and have experienced all the lows before they won the PL, I really hope you win the league this season. Mourinho is quality and I've said this before, your fans have been in the same class and it's made me change my mind about wanting you to win the league so good luck 👍
ps sorry I bang on about Leicester too, you're probably not that interested but you seem a decent lot that just want to talk about football, whether it directly relates to Chelsea or not and in all honesty I enjoy reading your views on us. Arro 👍
