I sat listening to last nights match on radio derby, almost in disbelief as Wimbledon demolished and steam rollered their way to victory . They had a sixteen stone 32yr old striker !! ,and a diminutive strike partner who had pace and who we should have known all about from previous meetings who almost single handedly ripped us apart . Maybe it was just a bad night at the office ,maybe our team selection was wrong ? , Bury... away at the weekend lets hope we bounce back to winning ways , and we dont undo all our early season promise . Your thoughts gentlemen !!

I was there on Tuesday night. The Brewers did not turn up in the first half and all the damage was done.
The problem is in League two some teams don't have good enough players to play football, so they have to use other ways to win games, push, pull, bully and kick chunks out of the other teams. Most Refs at this level are dire, so it only helps.
Many other teams will fall foul to the Wimbledon way of football this season.
Games such as Mansfield v Wimbledon will need a strong ref or it will be a bloodbath.
Anyway back to the Brewers, they need to move on and get back to what they have been doing so far this season and bounce back.
Now we find out just how good this team is as this Saturdays game is now a 6 pointer.

Not a problem. An excellent start to the season. We will win more than we lose in the campaign. If the Brewers were going to lose anywhere it was going to be away at Wimbledon.
