Lol..fair enough. But seriously speaking. Its more about desire and concentration than formations. We have a lot of weak minded footballers in the game right now.

I'm not sure weak-minded players is a money thing. Players like Gattuso, Davids, Schweinsteiger, Mascherano. they fight for every ball and they are all millionaires.

I think the manager should pay as much attention to a players desire to succeed as they do to their skill and 'sell-on' value.

in my opinion Pochs main job is to get these players playing for each other as a team. If he gets that much alone done he'll improve us loads.

Sherwood touched on this. But then continued to play no DMs. Usually the toughest characters are the DMs. Sherwood surprised me with his selections. I'm glad Poch is rectifying this.

When was the last time Spurs had two dominant characters in a midfield?

Its true, you need what we call here a 'tinker' in the team, usually in CM, someone who will put it about a bit. Roy Keane and Viera were the masters at this.

The reports on Fazio is that hes a bit of a tinker and hopefully then himself and Stambouli can harden the team up. We're a soft team, we're too 'nice'.

I hope Fazio and Stambouli play tonight. They sound like a cheap Italian comedy double act. I hope they add some steel to the team.

Fazio winning headers and Stambouli disrupting play. We actually don't have any players that excel in anything. For Spurs to go far it needs to be based on effort and teamwork.

Spurs have historically been softer than a Liverpool penalty, hopefully Fazio and Stambouli will toughen us up
