Derby County 2 - 2 Cardiff City

And finally, the Scottish question has been settled.....

It's a YES. Women can be members of the R&A!

(About bloody time too - sexist pigs)

And so this match posting is dedicated to my fellow JA606 females (Cat) and all the other women who venture out on match day to support the mighty Rams.

As well as a breakthrough for women in golf, today we also celebrate the memory of one of the greatest managers football has ever seen: Old Big 'Ead. Ten years ago today he passed away, and Derby and Forest fans alike have come together to put aside their differences and remember the great Brian Clough.

And now onto the Welsh question.....

Are we going to beat Cardiff????? (I've been to Cardiff, it's a lovely place: I went to the Doctor Who Experience)

Cardiff have not won any of their last three games, losing the previous two - their last win was on the 26th August against Port Vale. However, they have only lost one of their five away games this season - could Derby cause that total go up to two today??

And then there's the Derby questions for this week:

Whitbread or Buxton??

Has Ward done enough to earn himself a place in the starting 11 today? (Er, yes)

Will Ramette's match thread continue with it's 100% win rate???

Only time well tell

Team news to follow: could somebody post them if I've already left for the IPro??

We got told we would be bringing in better players than we already have. Where are they?????? Some players at Derby county need a good kick up their ar$e. We should of beat that side yesterday. They were a very poor side

Well, JIbe is one Wassa - thought he looked class when he came on and gave us some penetration. And Christie is no step-back from Andre on yesterday's performance.
Best is not an alternative to Martin though and who knows about Mascarell ?
I don't get to as many as I'd like, but I thought we were good yesterday and an ace away from a big win. I also remember seeing some poor stuff last season.
Careful we don't look back on the whole of last season with rose tinted specs.

Morning in glos with sun shining I look on 3 games in a week, 5 points and unbeaten and think if we'd swapped the points from Blackburn with Cardiff none on here would mind.

I was angry yesterday about the result...felt like a loss at the time, but in the cold light of day, I think we showed some spine to claw back the deficit.

I wasn't angry Moj - ended up being proud of the fightback !
Frustrating day all round though and a bit of a strange atmosphere also. Good applause for Cloughie early on, but even the S Stand didn't manage to get that much going. Then there was stunned silence after Cardiff's goals and we didn't get properly behind the team until after our first goal.
In what was one of the best comebacks and potential endings in ages, I was amazed to see people leaving with minutes still on the clock and another 5 mins injury time yet to be announced.
Sorry to bang on about this - perhaps we needed 'Our Igor' to stir things up a bit

the team showed some bottle to fight back from being 2 goals down.

I thought the atmosphere in the first half was ok. Us fans tried to get the team going, even though, I thought the first half was a training session, no urgency.then it takes them to score 2 goals to kick us into gear.the ref didn't help either, some really strange decisions. But all In all I'm happy with a point at the end of the day. But frustrated with playing 3 centre halves,ie Eustace.doing not a lot👎
