Seems like he was making decisions without consulting Cellino.
Statement from Bean: "I’ve enjoyed working with staff at Leeds. As far as working with Mr Cellino is concerned I’d prefer not to comment."
Bean sacked

Then again it might just be that?!

The latest was a tweet regarding him asking MC for a pay rise for the staff because they have not had one for 4 years and they are all unhappy about it.
It would be a poor idea for MC to sanction that and make redundancies, seems like Bean saw himself as a champion of the staff and it wasn't appreciated, could be wrong of course.

2020 like I said earlier, think there was a clash of egos.

I said the other day that when Cellino enters the building the mood changes - and fast!
People are sh#t scared of him for whatever reason but my guess is if you get on his wrong side you are toast.
Not a great way to spend your working day but maybe some of them have had it too easy under previous regimes?

Stoopo I think you're right. After the game at Blues a few of the travelling management were heading into the boardroom when Massimo shouts out that he needs to go straight up to Leeds.
No protests, no dissenters, Lorimer dispatched to give excuses and apologies and off they went.

Stef - I have it on good authority from someone who has seen it first hand whilst in the office.
This person said the mood changed from happy/jokey to "oh SH/t the boss is here" in an instant.

Of course we only know one side of the story re Bean's sacking but then we all know there's a hint of the Mussolini about Cellino. He's a dictator. But maybe that's what we need - there's a been a culture of complacency at Leeds for too long.
