Always hard to tell if the 4 game good run is the real leeds or the poor run preceding it is.
We're probably somewhere in between.
Tough start for new manager to follow a little run of good form, he needs time and support from Cellino.
There were a couple of worrying signs though, firstly no Redfearn in dugout as promised, it could well be thoughthat Redfearn wanted to give Darko space but at least for PR purposes I think he should have been there.
Secondly, Darko saying midfield was tired and thats why Morison didn't come on. I thought we had this unique fitness regime that would enable us to outlast the rest of the division? And then Cellino questioned why Darko didn't bring Morison on.
Darko needs Cellino's full support right now, and if he's as good as some people think the results will come.
I'm not worried about his first 3/4 games, its a big adjustment in terms of language and as he said himself, he doesn't know this league, teams or players yet.
Will the real Leeds stand up?

Team were starting to click with Redfern, they all looked that extra 10% up for it, like they knew exactly what they were doing.
In my opinion he should have stayed on, especially with the amount of young lads in the first team.
But we'll have to see won't we, Darko's English is pretty poor and like you say, he knows absolutely nothing about the Championship.
Onto the next two important home games.

Harrogate, agree I'd have let him stay on a while too, but it's done now, big step up for Darko, needs full support from Cellino and a little patience, people thinking we're going to make playoffs etc is just unrealistic for this season.

We're on course for an interesting, but ultimately mid-table, season. Anything better than that and I will be ecstatic.
I see Darko's comments as excuses rather than reasons. Just something to say and deflect from the 4 match unbeaten run preceding his first game in charge.
Don;t worry about Cellino and Darko - he will give him at least 6 games

Yesterday he changed things, he left out sloth and put 2 up front, subsiqently losing our width and getting picked off in midfield. It cost us the game imo. Shouldn't have changed a winning formula for his first game.

Keeping Redfearn on for longer when Cellino clearly wants him running the Academy isn't the way forward.
He's got his new Head Coach in now and as they say, after yesterday's result/performance the only way is up.
I'm looking forward to seeing an improvement next time around and a return to winning ways.
Milanic will be a safe pair of hands. I think Cellino will expect better but that was always going to be the case.
We have players in the squad who will improve and those waiting to start. I see no reason to panic. It's a transitional season that might, just might, offer more than we expected a couple of months ago.

I don't think they it was anything to do with fitness. It was the lack of experience and quality. Not sure why Sloth didn't play!

whiterose, it was Milanic who said the midfield was tired and that's why he didn't bring Morison on.

Sorry Jonty, I was struggling wothout glasses .
I think this loss was down to the new manager but ofcourse he needs time to learn about the players and what they can offer.
We have a decent squad I think, if it's used properly!

I expect erratic results for some time yet. It's still a really new team, all trying to work together. We'll click some games, we won't others.
Where we'll finish in the league is anyone's guess..... personally I've no idea at all. Top half hopefully - playoffs even.
