6 HG in the squad or starting 11?

If in the squad then 6 is quite easy and 6 of whom I'd consider to be certain for the match day squad:

Byram
Warnock
Pearce
Cook
Mowatt
Stuart Taylor

Those 6 - barring injuries - would be in all of our match day squads I'd imagine.

Then we have

Cooper
Tonge
Morison
Sharp

At least 2 of those 4 will be around most match day squads as well.

When you say the foreign imports stepping aside for other foreign imports...do you mean players like Del Fabro, Benedicic, Montenegro and Adryan? Personally, I don't think it's because of the home grown issue as we could have all of those on the bench or starting if we have the 6 core players in the squad I previously named. I think they've not been included because they're deemed not ready.

I'm wondering if Leeds hierarchy thought it meant team.

Am struggling to find any wording in Football League rules on this, maybe someone has a link.

It would be 6 in the match day squad. So we are more than safe their. Adyran aint playing due to paperwork (same old Leeds) Montenegro and Del Fabro aren't needed atm as the team until Saturday were playing really well. Montenegro scored again yesterday so he might be on the bench this weekend. But why play him in his secondary position?? If he's good enough it should be in his strongest position.

Gelderd...in terms of fitness or ability?

Hard to imagine with all the hype over Adryan that his ability isn't up to Championship standard. Can imagine he may have early difficulties with the level of the game and the intensity etc.

As far as I'm aware it's 6 in the squad and not the starting 11 so I don't think we need to worry regarding foreign players.

Although he did say that Adryan played well yesterday and although he took a few heavy challenges it didn't stop him playing. That was a worry for me, whether he could handle the physicality of English football....albeit in the reserves.

Yeah I know what you mean Gelderd but if you watch Brazilian football, which he learnt his trade, their game is dirtier than ours. He'll be well accustomed to being kicked about.

Everything I've heard/read/seen about Adryan points to him being full of talent but needing to mature and develop the talent.

I think we need to see him get a game, even if it's the last 20 mins, just to get him in the picture or the fans are going to wonder what the problem is.

I know people being saying paperwork but Leeds have been denying it completely. He wouldn't have been allowed on the bench had there been an issue, surely?

Yeah I don't believe the paperwork thing at all, he has been on the bench so I don't know where that has come from

Am sure Adryan has been on the bench, so I don't believe the paperwork rumour.
