Players not people

I think people need to remember that under redfern, three of them games could easily have been defeats

Completely agree with this. I like NR, but people are making out he was saviour, when in fact we were lucky to get those points and the majority of our other results point to what is really going on.
I do feel the passing/confidence is better, but that we're a player or 2 short of translating that into stiffer defence and more potent attack.

I wouldn't want redders as manager....he is doing such a brilliant job with the kids at the moment, where are you gonna find another coach who has the trust of the kids & he has probably the most important job in football to nurture talent make the kids ready for first team football, it'd be foolish to undo all that....

Your talking like nobody else could run the youth side
How many great youngsters are in our team ??

It's easy to say we could have got nothing from the games Redders took charge, but people need to remember we were utterly ga sh before he took charge and turned it around getting us playing nice football at times and getting a 3-0 win before been replaced.
Should have stayed in charge as he clearly had players wanting to perform for him.

LIW....who would come into our setup as it is ?....the key word is trust which has been developed between redders & the kids....why would wanna break that ?....if it's not broke don't fook w.ith it....

You can have too much trust mate
My point is that if you think redders would do well has manager, the youth set up comes second.
And what's wrong with current set up for nobody to come in

While some are saying we could easily have had defeats under Redders, simple fact is, we didn't.
To say something like that is obviously looking for some excuse to write a negative comment.
If a game is won, then the team did enough to win; if the game is won against the run of play then the team won by taking their opportunities.
I agree with Gate and others who said Redders should'ave stayed in charge, the team was on a roll and shouldn't'ave been tinkered with for the time being.
While the academy is very important to LUFC, the first team is top priority, if Redders is the man to improve our team and get more wins than losses, then, if Redders wishes he should'ave been kept on as 1st team coach.
Milanics first mistake was tinkering with a winning team, second mistake was playing Duke to deep.
While some rubbish certain players, probably based on likes / dislikes / favourites etc, for me, our weak links are,
Pearce, lacks pace and players get around or past him to often.
Warnock, hot and cold player. Younger faster players are getting around him, he's 32/33 years old now and his pace has slowed.
Austin, a player who plays more cold than hot. He has his little runs but they mostly lead to nothing. He's always trying to hit the lad at back of stands when he shoots or takes free kicks, these are all wasted moves on his part.
Austin also seems to lose the ball and pass to the opponents more often than not, no real impact to the team.
I personally think Adryan should'ave started against Rothers, Cook, while being a great addition to our team looks exhausted and tired.
There's always a danger of over playing young players, especially at 17; Mowatt, who is slightly older is also hot and cold, but in small patches, he also seems a little exhausted.
Same could happen to Adryan, not saying it will or won't, but from what everyone saw, I think Adryan can hold his own from start and add the spark we've been missing. He's going to get better and more confident with every game, exhaustion will remain to be seen.
I said it all along, we don't seem to be taking to many shots from edge of box like other teams do. We can't play with the intentions of trying to walk the ball into net, it won't work every time and won't work most of the time.
Adryan showed he's prepared to take pot shots from around edge of box, could also encourage others to start doing same.
Sharp and Morrison for me won't bring anything to team, they can complain all they like but at moment the Antennucci / Duke set up is pretty good, but Duke needs to play further forward, that's how he got his previous goals.
Bit hard to replace Antennucci at moment cos he's scoring, Duke is also scoring even though a couple have been off side.
Seems to me, at moment Milanic is a little unsure of himself and stutters with selection and formation.
His subbing is a bit late, he needs to recognise the problems earlier and make the required sub, not play catch up.
I think Cook should'ave come off at half time replaced by Adryan. Cook looked tired and wasn't really in the game.
I think Darko is treading on thin ice now, he needs to stop being stubborn and work more with Redders, the team comes first.

Morison should have come on a bit earlier because he used to play with a style that would suit us now, he just needs a chance to regain his confidence.

I am all for the academy, the youth etc, but it's the first team that is the team folk pay money to see..!
We need more positivity on the pitch and a run of wins.
