Eric..I much prefer the football way....The passing game will come good later in the season,it's a question of holding your nerve with the style of play we are trying now....We just need to get a little bit tougher,and stop teams out muscling us.....The mirror has an insider at Elland Road that has that sort of imformation?..Well,some might believe them.It's good for a bit of speculation,I suppose.

The thing is this, Don Revie believed in his players (the whole squad) and he stuck with a nucleus, admittedly a nucleus that had great quality!! he also stuck with his principles and beliefs.

We have a predominantly young squad. I'd like to see DM put out his strongest team and only tinker periodically. Accepting that if changes need making in the games he ought to do it through sensible substitutions. I really cannot see now a player can usually impact on a game if he only gets a couple of minutes right at the end.

He has to tinker to find his best squad first Eric.

I cannot believe he hasn't seen enough to know the nucleus of his starting eleven. We all have...!

The problem facing Darko Milanic is this, if he knows his best 11, not yours, mine or anyone else's, his, then he needs to have faith with them and give them a run of games.

The players have had long enough to get used to each other in training etc and he's been here long enough to see all he needs to know.

I'd like to see him pick his team on merit. I'd like to see him stand by his convictions and his players and I'd like to see us gain some points.



I stand by that.
