Really tough fixtures to pick up points in
Darko surely needs points for Cellino to keep confidence in him
ER buyback promised by November
Next tax evasion case for Cellino
Players need to stand up and do their bit on the pitch, Cellino needs to support Darko and deliver on his promises and I think he also needs to be trying to make friends with FL, he will need them.
Massive month for Leeds

* 11-12 pts max sorry

Well it boils down to our home form because our away record over the last few years is embarrassing.
I didn't expect to win away at Bradford or Rotherham, so I wont be expecting anything from Norwich, Cardiff for Blackburn.
But I would expect us to pick up at least 2 wins at ER, but even then they are all very tough fixtures. Its make or break....we will know exactly where we stand after this run.

home form has stuttered lately, only taking 2 points from last 6 and we've not exactly got an easy set of fixtures coming up.
Things can turn around pretty quickly of course, I think next 4 weeks will define a lot of things.

Weall, I think we'll pick up around 8 points from those 21 points and that i'm afraid is relegation form, so needs a turnaround pretty quickly.

11-12 pts is optimistic, at best. I think we'll only get 8-9 pts though

Weall, do you think the 10 points under Redfearn was a blip?

12 points is certainly optimistic. Blackpool is the stand-out game which you'd think we should win (a six-pointer??). But I can't see us beating Derby or Wolves or getting more than 1 or 2 points from the away games.
Redfearn's time in charge saw two very winnable home games, and Bournemouth were mugged. I'm sure we'll have similar periods of form this season, but it won't be the norm.

And that's the worry Warwick, that it won't be the norm, for if that is the case then we simply don not pick up enough points to keep out of relegation zone.
We can talk about passing and 15 players in but unless we change the rate at which we pick up points we could be in trouble.

Every month is going to be huge given what's at stake. We'll win games throughout the season that we didn't expect to win and we'll lose games like Rotherham where three points should have been there for the taking.
We have enough in the squad to compete, comes down to confidence, selection and tactics. I hope we persevere with Milanic, independent commentators suggest we are passing better. There have been improvements from the off.
It's easy to pick holes but this is and always was work in progress. It's a competitive league f only because there are a plethora of teams of a similar quality. It's not an exceptional league by any stretch of the imagination.
I don't hold with the predetermined selection theory and there are a good number of quality players in our midst. I've seen Sloth play and he's impressed on occasions along with others. Consistency is missing but that will come.
I've seen every Leeds United squad since 67, it's by no means the worst and it does offer potential. If you're looking for Utopia it ain't here not would it ever be.
We will progress, off field there's a few things waiting to happen too.
I'm comfortable thus far and encouraged for the future. I'm not deluded, I'm not oblivious to all that is happening but I've seen enough to know this season will be a huge step in the right direction.

As Warwick said, I think some of those teams were there for the taking. Also think Silvestri kept us in games before we eventually started playing. Bournemouth being an example.
So I think some of the teams made us look better than we were in that run of games. Maybe the players didn't like the way we trained under Hockaday and immediately bought into Redfearn's methods.
Now maybe we need a few games to get Milanic's methods implemented. It's a lot of maybes. But yes Jonty, I thought we were slightly "fortunate" with that run of games under Redfearn, teams made us look better than we were.
I say we'll get 8-9 pts out of those games, but you never know, we could get a win in one of the two first games and that might boost players' confidence.
Hopefully we get that first one under Milanic early and go on a run. But as someone else said, the Blackpool game is the only game that stands out as "win" for now
