Just got back from the match and have to say we were very lucky tonight as we were completely overrun by Norwich, especially in midfield as we gave the ball away and got dispossessed far to easily.
Norwich showed what can be done by playing specialised wingers, thank god they didn't have the finishing in front of goal to match there attacking style.
But a point is a point.

Midfield is the evident no problem. No king pin, no link to strikers and also defenders are too short. A good point though.

Silvestri was incredible.
We would probably be bottom 3 without him. As EAW says, midfield was overrun pretty comprehensively last night.
A 5 man midfield away to Norwich would have worked much better imo:
Silvestri
Byram Bellusci Pearce Warnock
Austin Bianchi
Cook Adryan Mowatt
Douks
I think it is a good point overall, after a pretty weak performance again. But these mediocre showings need to stop and pretty quickly.
Very very important run of games coming up till xmas now, this period will decide which half of the table we will be fighting in after the new year.

Tactics do not seem to vary regardless of opposition, neither do the personnel to any great degree.
Darko tells us he's done his homework, knows what to expect etc but does he?
Players continually giving the ball away, Baird was having kittens about our defence and forwards were virtual spectators.
It's not like this is the first game like this.
Ultimately it's a good result, but not a good enough one to keep us in this division unless we have a serious upturn in form.
We;ve played 13 league games now and a couple of cup games and bar a couple of halves of performances, they've all been poor and not yielding the points per game that we need to stay up.
I think Baird summed it up pretty well, once in a while, the football might look pretty, but we will concede goals and we will not score many.
I'm not sure this diamond formation is going to work unless some serious money is thrown at it.
