I Feel Sorry For Balotelli...

As Biggish pointed out, Balotelli will be the Liverpool scapegoat of the season, a patsy for Gerrard.
The expectations of him are just beyond ridiculous.
Last season was a freak for Liverpool and losing Suarez and not buying true quality replacements is where Rodgers showed his inexperience and naivety.
Trouble with alot of Liverpool followers is that they are so desperate for some recognition and success and last season has given them false hope. Balotelli is exactly their kind of player - second tier. Rodgers needs to grow a pair and change their style to suit him. It really is that simple.
They need to get over last year and lower their unrealistic expectations and perhaps start to question their manager instead.
I've just read one scouser comparing him to Wenger in that they have a style philosophy and stick with it, resulting in less success
The guy has won nothing, he thinks defending is easy to coach yet clearly doesn't bother with it and is going to hang Balotelli out to dry to cover his arris.
Three envelopes all over again!
His record in the transfer market is shocking apart from Sterling, and after £200m spent and after lecturing other clubs spending £100m that they should be challenging for the title, he is taking the club backwards.
He spends his press conferences talking in soundbites and cliches about football philosophy, style ethics, pride, history, special club, special fans and they just lap it up. He's a fraud and like all cult leaders, his disciples cant see it. Hilarious

Says the poster admitting to still being drunk on a Thursday morning and using this to excuse his, erm, less thought out posts. Classy fella.

Yes that's me. I had a drink during a football match and reacted to an emotive subject!

Doesn't sound like you are a very balanced individual

What makes you say that? How would a balanced individual use a platform to facilitate views in your opinion whitewall? I'm pretty sure I'll never like a player swapping shirts at half time when losing - that'll be a constant. Furthermore being able to take on board others views and manage initial feeling is the very act of being balanced surely.

I don't think you are thinking your posts through although it is possible, some may say probable, that you simply don't have the acumen.

Well, call me old fashioned, but a grown man making ridiculous statements on a forum then backtracking and blaming being drunk still from the night before on a work day strikes me as someone who needs to raise their personal standard's. Just a polite observation Something for you to take stock of perhaps

Well is it ridiculous to not be happy with a player breaking rules that have been clearly laid down? I'm not backtracking but rather took on board another’s view. That is what debate is about. To take a sanctimonious attitude towards getting drunk whilst watching football is laughable you joker as is your lame ass attempt to reinforce an already weak argument.

Imagine being a grown man and making ridiculous statements on a forum when sober like you do whitewall.

I understand that you won't appreciate my appraisal but I do genuinely think you're an idiot and I can't help it as it's as clear as day. Just another sad muppet banging on about LFC all the time and I find it hard to suffer such incorrigible no-marks such as yourself. I don't mean to offend.

And still with the personal insults

Cool. And I honestly think that you should be seeking to set yourself higher personal standards, assuming of course you are a grown man, you did allude to working earlier so just an educated guess on my part.

Of course if you felt you had to drink so much that it would make you sound like a drooling apologising sad case a day later, then maybe supporting Liverpool is getting to be too much for you
