Wenger.

His decisions/indecisions look worse by the day.
In no other club in the world would Abou Diaby still be an arsenal player; his contract would have been paid up and a squad place freed up. His body is shot; so much so that Wenger sheepishly uses the phrase " not ready" instead of "injured " when now referring to Diaby .
Look at Sanogo; forget for once his awful football skills and consider his injury record . For nearly two years he was injured in France and even considered jettisoning football to become a postman. Presently he has not been seen for five weeks having tweaked a hamstring. Imagine for once if Giroud had stayed fit and our striker options had been these Frenchmen -scary.
Wenger knew of Kos achilles problem during the World Cup , yet sold on our captain without a replacement. We have a left back all at sea in the CB role.
Who gives a washed up player in Flamini a three year deal ? Who deploys players in postion they are not comfortable in? Must substitution always come in the 65th- 70th min and in reaction to going behind ?
While the under- performers embraced and celebrated the victory yesterday, Sanchez just shook his head as he trudged off.
Wenger has done great things for this club, but he has to be held more accountable going forward. There is a lot wrong with his management presently.

Injury, couldnt keep a clean sheet with him in the team and its ridiculous to have your Captain on the bench every game

Barca feel like we mugged them, that should say enough

We need someone who.can replace Mert in time if not now, not someone who's just going to do what Monrealand Chambers are doing

I agree we got a good deal for Vermaelen but dubious that Arsene really sought a replacement.
The market for a decent CB is going to be tougher in Jan. Guess time will tell.

The other problem is a dearth of quality cbs around Europe, possibly worldwide

Stones looks good and an "Arsenal" type of player but Everton would want close to 20m

Celtic's Virgil Van Dijk had been touted but I have never seen him play. Another in the news today is Stuttgart's Antonio Rudgel. Gunnerthru thinks he not ready though.

Rudgel (maybe his agent) has linked himself with us. Never a good sign

I think tbf the OP makes valid points. However as someone who has supported Arsenal for many years, Wenger is talked of in particularly disrespectful and blinded way. Nothing wrong in criticizing him, but there is a ridiculous amount of hyperbole when people do so.

TV shouldnt of been allowed to go until a replacement had signed. Wengers dealings on transfers is mindboggling.

Buy what I am more worried about is his increasingly strange body language. There have been a few times we have scored recently and he has looked like someone paranoid that they are about to be attacked or something. I fullly expect to see it again soon so dont take my word for it but keep it in mind and look out for it.

I wonder if Steve Bould is doing any defensive coaching these days if any are fit.

Wenger needs to go, the longer he withholds the inevitable the more detriment it will be to the Football Club.

So if Wenger were to go,as you put it.

What top class manager is available to replace him.???

We wouldn't even need a top class manager to replace him, get some bum from the lower leagues and he'd probably do a better job.
