Just watched the West Ham/City game and saw Alex Song give a barnstorming performance. He's been really good since he got to West Ham and no disrespect to West Ham but he's good enough to play for a bigger club.
I feel what we miss in the middle is a player who can put himself about and I reckon Song is that guy. He wasn't that bad at all at Barca but seems tailor-made for the PL.
If we can't get Vidal (or Vidal still has injury issues) would people be happy with Song coming to United? He bossed City's midfield today.
