Johnny Giles speaks...!

A footballing legend passes comment.

I disagree with him mind, I think Massimo Cellino has done more good in his few months in charge to change LUFC for the better. I hope he stays and that the club prospers under him.

It's ok for JG to make his comments, sadly I don't see him offering any alternative. Saying move on and let someone else in is not exactly ground breaking is it, it's just a bit like saying you don't like someone and that as long as he goes you'd be happy (Remember the anyone but Bates calls...?). JG wasn't entirely overjoyed when Mr Clough came either (and look what happened there..!)

I always said (not wanting to steal anyone's catchphrase there either) that it would be interesting under Massimo Cellino and that it would be a rollercoaster of a ride. It is proving to be just that.

We have a good squad. We have great facilities. We have a wonderful fanbase.

All we need now is a MANAGER..! One that COACHES..!

And we need that man (or woman) to be in place for the rest of the season.

And we need the squad to start believing in themselves, because we have the quality.

I welcome Johnny Giles comments, he's entitled to his opinion, probably a little more than most, but it doesn't mean he's right.

Eric, nice to see poll's put to Leeds fans who back the bod they think can do it, someone should ask at the same time how long they think he'll be in that job!..

It is good LufcGermany and it's good to see Mr Redfearn has support.

Perhaps he'll be our coach for three and a half years, maybe not, he might make five years.

If he does we'll be well happy I would suggest.

I am no more a dreary then anyone around here, the same as the others you have called, but hey, its not to hard to see, it depends on where you are looking on who the drearies really are!..

Eric, he's just done the shortest span for any Leeds United manager/coach, you cant honestly think he'll set a new all time manager record for our one and only Redders can you?..

He might just surprise you LufcGermany.

By the way on re reading my response to your comment, I am not suggesting you are a dreary, you're far more interesting than that, my response to your earlier comment was the first part of my comment.

The latter part was a piece of whimsy.

It is Giles who talks about moral courage in football, the willingness of players to do the right thing, when it matters. The lung bursting run in the 90th minute, staying on your feet when you have just been tackled in the box, giving and expecting 100% from your team at all times.
He should have listened to his own words. His comments are of no worth to the fans, the players or the club.
This is at least the second time Giles has had a pop at Cellino. I don't see him stumping up the cash to force a buyout or acknowledging the risks Cellino has taken. No, he is happy to sit on the sidelines fomenting the anger of our supporters, for reasons known only to himself.
These are cowardly words from a once courageous leader.

Eric, the thing is with your dreary thing is, as well as me not agreeing with it,(to me people can say what they want, and if they're wumming or whatever they'll just show themselves up for what they really are, but most are only showing what they think!)but your dreary thing is some never know who your calling!.

LufcGermany

I am not asking you to agree with me

People can say what they want, just as I can.

Most people know who I mean, if they don't they can ask you...! And you can say whoever you want.
