Silva and Yaya....

Went off injured! If they weren't fit for the weekend, how would you rate out chances?

I think off the back of a bad loss to Newcastle with two of their best players out, things are looking a bit more optimistic!

It is all up to us to show up positively for this crucial game...imo I think we will play well comes Sunday.

Also I think this game is huge for lvg's confidence...and turning the season around positively...

Pellegrini says he is "worried" about his city's form going into Sunday's derby against United. Realistically, City have thrown away a 2-goal lead to draw in russia and lost to wh and the barcodes in their last 3 matches has played a part of getting a United good resul at the ittihad.

Last year we lost home and away...Part of it was Moyes: who had no experience of winning the big games. Actually, In his 11 years as manager of Everton he never won at United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea. His record was 46 games and not one win.

Now, however, we have a manager who does. And with it, the optimism has returned.

Wow, didn't realise it was just that bad. A horrific record, indeed.

At least we will have a go at them this season. They are not all that when under a bit of pressure, carrick, herrera, blind, big mazza, any 3 of four, get stuck in. Kompanys 'win all 4' prediction gets more laughable every season,he must have thought he signed for someone else.

United will thrash City anyway.
It's destiny.

If I could pick any player not to play it would be Kompany.

YaYa's just a poor mans Fellaini. If you take away his pace, power, goals and ability to turn a game around in an instant when his team needs him most what are you left with? Exactly.

Seriously though, I'm a little more confident for Sunday than I was a few weeks ago.

Before the season started, i wrote something along the lines of City's central midfield might not look as good this season with Yaya's heart not being in it and Fernandino might suffer from that drubbing Brazul got, a little like Carrick did after Rome (although Carrick denies it obviously)

It's a Derby though. I wouldn't try to predict anything. We could win 4 0 or lose 4 0
