This is probably why grass roots football is slowly being destroyed. Who wants to go out to play football on Sunday morning and come back with a shattered leg because some moron thinks its 'hard' to jump in, feet up for a 50/50 ball. As for going to 'see' the games I've managed U6's through to adult teams over 30 years, played at Hackney Marshes in the 70's and 80's more times than I care to remember, broken my right leg on 2 occasions and suffered a ruptured Achilles thanks to dirt bags with little or no talent trying to 'level' the playing field. I've seen a referee slashed with a machete and another punched so hard he was in a coma for a week. And that makes it a mans game. Pathetic
